Prior to finding Made On’s remedies, I had no clue how to treat cracked fingers and feet my husband dealt with in his harsh work conditions. Regular “lotions” are a no-no on broken skin. Although it rarely happens anymore, (thanks to Windrift Hill Soap [see future article]), when he occasionally does I don’t hesitate to apply MadeOn lotion even to the deep and most painful of cracks. Knowing it softens the skin, protects, is natural, safe and works… has been a welcome relief.
As for me, “kitchen hands” were my boon. I hesitantly used lotions for temporary relief. As soon as cooking called however, I’d be wash it all off again to avoid contaminating the food (which only compounded the dryness).
